I am Jacqueline Friel, a Portrait Photographer based in the heart of the Lowcountry. Originally from Rochester, New York, I earned a Fine Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Teaching before making Hilton Head Island my home in 2005.
I’ve loved taking pictures since I was a kid. I believe the best photos happen when you’re relaxed, laughing, and simply being yourself. My sessions are fun, easy and stress-free, with just enough guidance to help you look and feel your best.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring the Lowcountry, and spending time with my husband and two dogs. I can’t wait to help you tell your story and create photographs you’ll love for years to come.
My photography style can be described a blend of contemporary portraiture and lifestyle photography, inspired by the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. Relaxed and enjoyable, allowing genuine moments to unfold against the breathtaking landscapes of Hilton Head Island and the surrounding Lowcountry.
